Welcome
Welcome to the website of I Wood Design Inc ("Company," "we," "our," or "us"). By using this website or submitting information through our contact or quote request forms, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree with these Terms, please do not use this website.

2. Website Purpose
This website is provided for general informational and business communication purposes. The content on this website describes our capabilities, services, project categories, process, and general business information. The website does not create a binding agreement for services unless and until a separate written estimate, proposal, invoice, purchase order, contract, or written project agreement is issued and accepted by the appropriate parties.
3. No Guaranteed Availability
Submitting a contact form, quote request, email, or phone inquiry does not guarantee that I Wood Design Inc will accept, quote, schedule, or perform a project. We reserve the right to decline any inquiry, project, request, or proposed scope at our discretion.
4. Quotes and Estimates
Any quote, estimate, budget range, or pricing discussion provided by I Wood Design Inc is based on the information available at the time it is prepared. Quotes may depend on factors including, but not limited to, materials, dimensions, design complexity, drawings, finish requirements, hardware, upholstery, labor, delivery, installation coordination, revisions, timeline, and availability of materials.
Unless expressly stated in writing, quotes and estimates are not final contracts and may be revised. Pricing may change if project specifications, materials, drawings, site conditions, client preferences, quantities, deadlines, or other relevant details change.
5. Custom Project Requirements
Custom furniture and woodworking projects are unique and may require client approvals at different stages. Clients may be responsible for providing accurate measurements, design references, drawings, specifications, access information, finish selections, material preferences, site requirements, delivery details, and other project information.
I Wood Design Inc is not responsible for delays, additional costs, or project changes caused by incomplete, inaccurate, delayed, or revised client-provided information.
6. Design Review and Client Approvals
When design review, drawings, renderings, samples, specifications, or project details are provided for approval, the client is responsible for reviewing them carefully before approval. Once a client approves a design, drawing, material, finish, dimension, or production detail, changes may result in additional costs, additional time, or revised production schedules.
7. Materials and Natural Variation
Wood, veneer, natural materials, finishes, fabrics, and other materials may have variations in color, grain, texture, pattern, density, tone, knots, mineral streaks, and other natural characteristics. Such variations are part of the nature of custom furniture and woodworking and are not considered defects.
Digital images, screens, renderings, samples, and photographs may not perfectly represent final colors, textures, finishes, or material appearance. Lighting, environment, device settings, and finishing processes can affect appearance.
8. Production Timelines
Project timelines are estimates unless expressly guaranteed in a written agreement. Timelines may be affected by project complexity, material availability, client approvals, design revisions, supplier delays, workload, delivery coordination, finish curing time, subcontractor availability, holidays, transportation issues, and events beyond our control.
I Wood Design Inc will make reasonable efforts to communicate schedule expectations, but we are not liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, or special damages arising from project delays unless expressly required by applicable law.
9. Changes, Revisions, and Additional Work
Requests for revisions, additional drawings, material changes, finish changes, quantity changes, design modifications, rush work, installation coordination, storage, delivery changes, or additional services may result in added fees and schedule adjustments.
No verbal change request is binding unless confirmed in writing by I Wood Design Inc. We may require written approval and additional payment before proceeding with changes or extra work.
10. Payments
Payment terms, deposits, progress payments, final payments, accepted payment methods, and due dates will be specified in a separate quote, invoice, proposal, or written agreement. Custom work may require a deposit or advance payment before design, purchasing, fabrication, or production begins.
Failure to make required payments may result in delay, suspension, or cancellation of work. I Wood Design Inc may retain materials, products, drawings, project files, or completed work until outstanding amounts are paid, subject to applicable law and written agreement terms.
11. Cancellations
Because custom work may involve design time, labor scheduling, material purchases, supplier commitments, and production preparation, cancellations may be subject to fees. Deposit refunds, if any, will depend on the status of the project, costs already incurred, and any written agreement between the parties.
12. Delivery, Pickup, and Installation
Delivery, pickup, freight, crating, installation, and site coordination are not included unless specifically stated in writing. If delivery or installation is included, the client may be responsible for ensuring safe access, accurate site conditions, elevator availability, parking, loading access, building permissions, and site readiness.
I Wood Design Inc is not responsible for damage caused by unsafe access, improper handling by third parties, unsuitable site conditions, building restrictions, or client-directed moving or installation after delivery.
13. Site Conditions
For projects involving measurements, delivery, or installation coordination, the client is responsible for communicating relevant site conditions, including wall conditions, floor level, elevator dimensions, stair access, door openings, power requirements, building rules, and other restrictions. Additional costs may apply if site conditions require changes, special handling, remakes, or additional visits.
14. Intellectual Property
All website content, text, graphics, layouts, designs, images, branding elements, service descriptions, and other materials on this website are owned by or licensed to I Wood Design Inc unless otherwise stated. You may not copy, reproduce, modify, distribute, display, sell, or exploit website content without prior written permission.

16. Portfolio Use
Unless otherwise agreed in writing, I Wood Design Inc may photograph completed work and use non-confidential project images for portfolio, marketing, website, social media, and business development purposes. If a project is confidential or subject to special restrictions, the client must notify us in writing before production or delivery.
